Albany Bowl Junior League "We invite kids of all ages to join our ever growing Junior League program at Albany Bowl. There are leagues for kids of all ages and skill levels and volunteer coaches to help teach you all the proper bowling techniques.
Our junior leagues also give back to the kids. In 2013-2014 Albany Bowl gave out over $5,000 in awards and scholarships, and we want to give even more away this year.
And the best part is, junior bowling is affordable. With lower priced leagues, free shoe rental for all junior bowlers, and $1 discounted practice games, we support our Juniors and their bowling efforts."
For all questions and concerns about the Junior Program, please contact our Junior Director James Coggins at 510-526-8818.

City Youth Now "For over half a century, our mission has remained constant—City Youth Now supports youth in the San Francisco foster care and juvenile justice systems by providing funds for services and programs that promote stability and personal growth.
City Youth Now, originally founded in 1950, is the first non-profit organization of its kind in the history of the United States' juvenile court system. City Youth Now diligently works behind the scenes to address the unique needs of children and youth under the jurisdiction of the San Francisco Juvenile Court System. Probation officers, social workers, attorneys, and others come to us daily with requests for youth under their supervision.
City Youth Now works to ensure that youth in the juvenile court system have the same positive youth development opportunities as other children to grow into mature and successful adults.
The realities youth in the system face intensify every decade. The youth we serve come from low-income families, often with histories of child abuse and neglect, gun violence, incarceration, and/or substance abuse. The children come from all over San Francisco. They range in age from newborn to 18 years old, sometimes older for those youth who have recently emancipated from foster care. While they come from different communities around the city, the one thing they have in common is that they have each endured more than their share of trauma and hardship. Our hope is that by providing them with opportunities they might not otherwise have, they will have a better chance of breaking out of the cycle of violence and addiction that entraps so many of their peers and adult community members."

C.A.R.E. Bay Area "We provide a therapeutic horseback riding program and equine-oriented activities for children and adults. Through equitherapy we help our students achieve not only physical strength, but also gain self assurance, the ability to learn new skills, increased willingness to communicate and an overall better quality of life.
Nestled in the Napa Valley, our beautiful facility offers a natural beauty and peaceful setting. We can offer our students a covered arena for all year round riding, as well as a large outdoor ring for taking in the sites.
C.A.R.E. offers weekly and bi-weekly programs. Our sessions are seasonal: Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter. Sessions run 10 weeks long, and each session is geared toward the individual students. The goals and skill levels are addressed each week by a progressive lesson plan. They are approximately 45 minutes and are in small groups or pairs. We strive to promote a fun, related dynamic with our students addressing cognitive, sensory and port goals.
Our center and our instructors are both PATH (Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship) International Certified. Participants and their families can be confident that professionals trained and certified by the PATH Intl. certification process deliver safe and effective EAAT (Equine Assisted Activities and Therapy) sessions."
